The Costa Brava and part of its history

We are lucky to find ourselves in one of the most beautiful locations in our country. The Costa Brava is much more than beaches, it is also culture, so today we are going to make a most playful recommendation so that you can expand your knowledge and learn a little more about the past of some of the towns that make it up.

The Castle of Sant Joan is one of our recommendations, its history begins in the middle of the 13th century, when it was used to monitor the intrusions of pirates who sailed in its surroundings and thus offer the population of Blanes some security. Currently, it is one of the preferred locations for the panoramic views it offers. La Catedral de Girona is another of the iconic monuments that can be visited, it was built during the 11th and 18th centuries with Gothic and Baroque aspects. In addition, all those lovers of the Game of Thrones series will have the possibility of being in one of the settings where the series was recorded.
