The month of October has arrived, and for many, it is still synonymous with holidays. Today we want to talk about one of the cities in which some of our villas are located, this city is Blanes.
Blanes stands out for being the first city on the Costa Brava, which it’s known as “the portal of the Costa Brava”. Blanes has historical monuments, a great variety of restaurants, beaches, and coves that will leave you speechless.
One of the most emblematic and well-known monuments of this is the Castle of Sant Joan, from where you will have the chance to enjoy privileged views. Another of the historical monuments that you can visit is the Parish Church, which was previously known as the Vizcondal Palace, a Gothic palace that is a must-see if we walk through the streets of this cozy city. The convent is another of the most illustrious buildings, dated in 1583, it’s considered one of the most privileged places on the Costa Brava and has been declared of monumental and scenic interest.
Cala Bona, Cala Treumal, Blanes beach, or Sa Palomera, are some of the essential pieces that help shape the beauty of Blanes. Although we are in October, and the weather is not good, they are still one of the most beautiful and relaxing places to walk. In addition, some of our villas have direct views of these coves.
The fauna and flora are one of the most highlighted components of the Costa Brava, and Blanes is full of places where they can be enjoyed. One of them is the Marimurtra Botanical Garden or the Pinya de Rosa Tropical Garden, where you can learn and observe a large number of different species. The Delta de la Tordera is another natural space where you will discover the great variety of birds that inhabit this area.
As you have seen, Blanes has everything you need to spend an unforgettable holiday, even so, you can also find our villas in other towns and cities that have their beauty such as Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Calella, Mataró … If you need more information you just have to contact us!
